IF you are being treated for High Eye Pressure (Glaucoma) and the doctor prescribes drops with beta blocker...beware! As indicated in Dr Mirkin's recent newsletter it doesn't work well with athletes and regular exercisers. I dismissed it since I thought the eye drops would be insignificant. I was mistaken. The drops were enough to affect performance significantly (drops twice a day). Gradually I encountered pretty severe fatique. BP also plunged after long Sunday runs. Finally mentioned it to my eye doc and he changed the prescription. Full recovery took a couple of days.

He works with some elderly people with mutiple health issues.

Glaucoma isn't just an elderly disease....running for 35 years...only 60. Been treated since I was 45.
