Hello,
 
I am 53 y.o. and am tired of health situations and am now taking a proactive position rather than prescribed by my doctors.  I have realized that all positive things in my life has been achieved by me, however, I believe the experience of others in my position will help in dealing with diabetes and the complications from the same.

                          Good for you for taking a pro-active position.  I too am 52 years old and am now taking an active part in my own health.
