VIAGRA DOES NOT CAUSE HEART ATTACKS

Why are so many lawsuits filed, claiming that Viagra causes heart attacks, when a careful review of the scientific literature by the Food and Drug Administration shows that there is no evidence whatever that Viagra causes heart attacks?

Heart attacks are caused by blocked arteries leading to the heart. Viagra opens up arteries, it does not close them. The most common causes of impotence are arteriosclerosis and diabetes because these diseases damage arteries to block blood flow to the penis, but the same process also blocks blood flow to the heart. So being impotent increases risk for heart attacks five fold and diabetes by many times. Viagra permits an impotent man to make love, but it does nothing to treat the underlying cause. The excitement can put such as strain on an already damaged heart that it may start to beat irregularly and cause a heart attack.
